BLACK 'N BLUE Tour Manager Stabbed
October 31, 2003Week-TV reports that BLACK 'N BLUE tour manager is slightly injured after a stabbing that occurred in Downtown Peoria, Illinois Friday morning (October 31).
The incident happened on a tour bus that was being used by BLACK 'N BLUE and the BULLETBOYS on their joint U.S. tour.
According to witnesses, the driver of the bus stabbed Mark A. Rojas after an argument.
L.A. GUNS tour manager Brad Nelson, who was on a different tour bus nearby when the stabbing happened, said, ''The driver pulled a knife out and kind of grazed him in the stomach, [but] no one's hurt."
Witnesses say the two men have a history of arguing. Peoria police say they arrested 57-year-old James Dean Wiggins of Rome, Georgia, the driver of the bus, for aggravated battery with a knife and unlawful use of a weapon.
Police officials say Rojas, 35, of Fontana, California and Wiggins were pushing in an argument over money and receipts when Wiggins allegedly took a pocketknife and swung at Rojas, striking him in the left rib cage. Rojas then allegedly grabbed the knife causing a finger injury. Neither injury appears to be life threatening.
